Physiotherapist Associate Professor Michele Callisaya and Neurologist Professor David Blacker (both living with Parkinson’s Disease), will be joined by Wicking Dementia Centre’s Associate Professor and Neurologist Jane Alty to talk about the following topics:

  • different types of exercise and their benefits for Parkinson’s
  • how to start an exercise program and stay motivated
  • updates about what is happening in the world of sport for Parkinson’s
    — for example, golf, walking football, pickleball and boxing.

Our guest presenter Neurologist, Professor David Blacker will speak on his recent trip to Ireland for a Parkinson’s golf tournament and a boxing study he is leading.
